I'll go verify this one for you Ziabster and let you know what I find.

Ok, I verified that it is possible. And running into them is sure a great strategy

However I think I might halve the requirements for it, since it is pretty darn hard to get!

Thanks for the clarifying this. I'll try doing that today.

Ok I halved the requirement for this achievement. It should be a bit more attainable now

Has anyone managed to achieve "Altered Perception" (Use Pulsars to collect all hidden Light Orbs in a level)?

I could swear I got all hidden orbs several times on Eris 3/5/6 and I'm starting to wonder if there are some additional requirements not mentioned in the achievement description, like need 100% total score / can't die / must collect all hidden objects, not just light orbs / has to be done in specific level.

According to global Steam stats it's almost as common as completing Eris, which was no problem. Is there an easy/obvious way to get this?

I achieved it on the Eris's moon (Dysnomia).

The achievement works fine. Got it on Eris 1 or 2. Don't remember exactly.

Thank you both for replying. I finally got it on Dysnomia, after a lot of restarts and cursing.

I don't seem to be able to find the black hole in the asteroid belt. I've spent a long time scouring level 3 and I've also played back through the other levels in that 'world' and haven't spotted it.

Could somebody post a screenshot?

The description in the first post of this thread is accurate, you need to reach those portals right after the checkpoint in asteroid belt level 3. The point about the portals it mentions is not that you CAN stall your progress there (loop from exit to entry), but that you HAVE TO. Use them to stay in that area for half a minute or so, eventually the black hole will float into view from top or bottom of the screen into a position where you can enter it.

For given levels of accuracy. It doesn't mention anything about having to stay there for 30 seconds or so.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I've been looping for about 4 minutes now.

Would somebody be interested in double checking that the wormhole is present in the level and providing a screenshot?

Edit: Found it. The black hole is at the set of wormholes after those indicated in the first post (the second set of wormholes after the checkpoint).
