Mouse issues...

I'm about to give up with this...Whats going on with the laggy mouse in this game? It seems to handle it fine at one second then other its just like i cant possibly move it anymore??? Its like im playing tug of war with my mouse to even click load on the menus...luckily enough the game is ....somewhat barable but its just an issue i cant be bothered with...can anyone help or should i just get the BFg edition which will have this problem fixed which should of been fixed years ago....

Don't give up just yet! This is a common problem with the game, and has to do with the way it handles mouse acceleration. I'd start by disabling "Enhance pointer precision" in your Windows mouse settings. This has been known to cause issues in Doom3/Quake4.
