Steam took Team Fortress 2 away from me!
I contacted support concerning an issue that I have had for a long time, and that is the fact that the green was blood.
So 3 days later, I got contacted back by steam support, and what did they say? well, I'm just gonna copy what they said : Hello, A staff member has replied to your question: Hello Sindre, Thank you for contacting Steam Support. The sale of German low-violence licenses of this title are only meant for distribution inside of Germany. Additionally, the sale and/or distribution of CD Keys for Valve products without the remainder of the retail packaged product (including all software, the media, the accompanying printed materials, and the license agreement) is not authorized by Valve, any of its agents, or by law. Such activity violates the terms of the End User License Agreement ("EULA") for Valve products and thus infringes upon Valve’s copyrights in its software. The subscription on your account has been disabled. So basically they took my premium account away from me, when I bought The Orange Box in 2008 for full prize, because I broke a rule? WHAT RULE? If this is how I get treated by steam support then I will never buy another steam game again. Have trouble with it? OH WELL THEN WE CAN JUST TAKE THE GAME AWAY FROM YOU! |
