Cod5 clos itself

Hi all

i got an problem,

since i reset my computer, when i launch Cod5, it close automaticly itself after few second in cod.

i have had this issue also and fixed it twice first time i went to were the world at war cod start icon was not the shortcut but the launch game.exe in steam and when went tp properties and set the compability to run at 640x480 then went to options in game and set screen res to lowest setting then closed game and went back to launch game icon .exe and uncheck the compability to run 640x480

hope that helps if not the other time it keep doing it to me is becasue of a windows update messed with somthing i then restarted windows and installed the updates and checked for updates and then installed them and restarted agian until i searched and could not find anymore updates after installing the previous ones and so on then it seemed to work for me
