Dayz help

So followed the guide at PCG webiste

got the latest files put them where they should be and all i am getting is bad version server rejected when trying to join and a bunch of red X's to the left of each dayz server

the latest files were from today 1.7.2 but I noticed a string of numbers after that in the serve list, is this the version of Arma 2?
Steam version of Arma 2 btw

Are you launching it via Operation Arrowhead w/ the launch commands?

Also, once the game has loaded, make sure it says '@DayZ' in the top right corner of the main menu screen, as confirmation DayZ has launched.

If not, I'd suggest finding a YouTube installation guide, it's always easier to do something after you've actually seen somebody else do it.

edit: just used 6updater and everything works now, thanks for your response!
