I'd rather them remove it but better than nothing.

Oh neat, I didn't know Pripyat used OpenAL... I learned something today!
That actually reminds me... I know it's the Summer Sale, but I may be a bit delayed on responses toward the end of the sale... I'm releasing Waveform for Mac and Linux in the next few days and will be getting some other work stuff organized in the meantime. In exchange, you can listen to me awkwardly stumble through my own answers for an interview I did with True PC Gaming about this list and the work that I do these days. Should be up on Monday! |

I truly applaud all the effort and detail you've put into creating and maintaining this thread - I can't thank you enough. Considering how busy you are at the moment, I'm even more impressed. Big thanks from me. |

Does Batman Arkham City have limited activations? someone was claiming that in another thread. If so, is there a revoke option? and what constitutes losing an activation on the game?

Double post with the interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0mW0EPF3LM
I say it at the end of the recording, but I would like to say again: Thanks to all of you guys supporting this work! Whether you're a major contributor or just someone who has this bookmarked, I really really appreciate your support. |

Arcania doesn't seem to have SecuROM totally removed.
PID scan gave this: Quote:
It also creates two entries that the SecuROM remover shows at: C:\Users\All Users\SecuROM\DFA\ (contains an empty folder with a hex name and a readme file) C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Temp\Arcania_Data_DFE (contains 20 files with hex names and no extension, total size 292k) Each time the game is launched these two folders are created. Not sure if this counts as inert (there's no online activation and no program/service seems to be installed/registered) or active (since it does create these folders/files at every launch). Are the folders/files removable without the tool? If not then I'm calling it active on the basis that it installs the problematic SecuROM files, despite not using activations. Otherwise I'll just mark it as inert saying that it installs some extraneous files that aren't dangerous.
