Should you get Audiosurf?

Hello all! I'm sure many of you are curious about Audiosurf since it's on sale, but also because it's part of today's Indie bundle. Here's my take.

If you want a shorter rundown, this is one of those games like Beat Hazard, wherein your music is the fuel behind it. If you love music, and want to listen to your own library while playing a fun game with global leaderboards, give Audiosurf a go. It's quite fun.

I wouldnt bother i got it in the sale cheap at 75% off ...even that was to much...suppose it depends on who plays it...as this other person said.he had hours of fun.. me it was a waste of money..not recommended at all...

I'm really just a big fan of the whole leaderboard thing. Most of the time I'm not good enough to get on the global boards, but from time to time I have friends that I get into little mini competitions with. One friend and I competed on the Guile Theme with like 4+ lead changes until I finally crushed him

Audiosurf is the music videogame out there (beats out all the Guitar Hero/Band games, too). It's a lot of fun if you absolutely love music and gameplay is more in-tuned to the music than Beat Hazard or Rhythm Zone

I hated it there i said it..in fact the low price of a few gold coins i paid for it was still to much..this should be given away with a happy meal from Big Mac..i even posted on here twice to comfirm this..ha

I've had a lot of fun, and some competition with friends. Had it for years and tend to play it to relax rather than compete.

But the leaderboards are useless, cheating is rampant. People just rename songs with better score profiles, or double or triple the length of the song. As long as the name matches, the system doesn't care.

Yeah I agree with you honestly. I don't pay too much attention to the global leaderboards since some of the scores are likely unattainable.

I can also vouch for Audiosurf, it's such a unique game. Excellent value on a sale too.
