What's the DRM on this title, if any? (other than Steam itself, of course)

I see none listed on the store page, but Ubi is Ubi...

Do you need to go through Uplay?

It doesn't have any kind of DRM (except Steam DRM).
No, it doesn't use/support Uplay either.
