Unhappy Texture problems

When I load my model in the modelviewer or in game, I get the purple/black checkerboard. I have checked the path of my QC file, I have tried changing it. I have checked the VMT's, and the VTF's.
I changed the path of the QC to look for the VMT's in the folder that it's in, but still nothing.

I also cannot decompile compiled model using MDLdecompiler. It gives me "error loading model."

I have searched all over the web, I have remade my VMT's and VTF's and TGA's, but I haven't found a solution.

try right clicking your model's smd, and seeing what texture it is referencing - it could be a simple naming issue.
