Borderlands Problem

So I used to play Borderlands a while back. Then I "put it down" if you will. Stopped playing and all. With Borderlands 2 coming up I figured i'd give Borderlands another go for the hell of it, however, upon start up, everything save menus and my HUD is black. Textures, models, objects, all except the gun which is there but cant really be seen. After doing everything I can think of from restarting, re-installing drives, re-installing the game, I even edited WillowGame.ini to Allow D3D10, I am out of ideas.

Are you starting over on the game? Like are you starting a new game, or are you using an old save file of yours?

What are your system specs? And which drivers are you using?
