Angry Unable to find servers in Source mods

That's right, my client is unable to find servers to play Source mods, and it's pretty weird since I played PVKII as ususal and everything worked just fine, but today I can't because of that, any ideas or suggestions to fix this?

I'm getting this:

Age of Chivalry : 1 server
D.I.P.R.I.P. Warm Up : 0 servers
Dystopia : 0 servers
Empires : 0 servers
Eternal Silence : 1 server
Insurgency : 0 servers
Pirates, Vikings and Knights II : 0 servers
Smashball : 0 servers
Synergy : 0 servers
Zombie Panic! Source : 0 servers

I found a fix, y'all.

Just delete everything in your steam folder EXCEPT steamapps and steam.exe. Then click on steam.exe so it can download everything again, I did it again now the servers show up correctly.

PVK II and Dystopia seem to have problems, maybe due to the master server changes?

So what I get from above is that the developers of the mods which aren't listed (Dystopia, No More Room in Hell, Obsidian Conflict, PVK II) should contact Fletcher Dunn if they want to check whether the master server IPs in their mods are correct or whether there is a problem on Valve's end.

If you subscribe to the hlds_linux mailing list you can find his e-mail address here. Or you can use the general contact form (sdk address) or for specific people (excluding FD) this one and ask your message to be forwarded to FD.

I'm pretty sure the fix for the July 5th issue on Valve's side worked for all mods and they all showed up fine on the 10th of July.

Valve seems to think that this new issue since July 14th isn't their fault, and thus the developers of the affected mods need to contact Valve (as I described above) to find out if this is indeed a coding bug (using static master server IPs) or if there is something wrong on Valve's side (again).

I like your script, one issue though, the game directory for DoD:S is dod, not dods.

So after successfully running a Dystopia server with above method, I tried the same with PVK II - and the server wasn't listed. I then reverted to the old method (sv_master_legacy_mode 1 followed by a heartbeat), and it showed up.

Exited Steam, started Dys and PVK servers, PVK didn't show up again, although the mode was set to 1. Heartbeat didn't help. Set it to 0 again, followed by a heartbeat, server showed up.

From the mods that had problems I see this server population (using the Steam server browser):

Dystopia: 1 server
No More Room in Hell: 30 servers
Obsidian Conflict: 8 servers
PVK II: Created a server on a mate's machine, this is currently the only one listed.
SGTLS: Fixed a server on a mate's machine, this is currently the only one listed.

For PVK II I put this at the end of "server.cfg", probably you just need to set it to either 1 or 0 depending on the Steam client running at the same time or not. I leave this to someone else to figure out, anyway with these lines it works for me.

I tried that and it doesnt work.

Oddly, all my windows servers are suffering from this while my linux servers are working fine. So it looks like this is a windows issue only.
