Lightbulb Anything like this?

Hi,
just wanted to ask if you guys could recommend something similar to this game? Something with great plot, funny dialogues and interesting but not heavy puzzles?
Thanks

check out the lucasarts adventure pack (dated graphics but stellar otherwise), monkey island series (same puzzles, remastered graphics), most of the telltale games. that should be a good starting point.

Not sure what you mean by heavy puzzles, but there is a slightly different genre known as hidden object games, which is considered "lighter" but I think they seem to lack in story departments. In general I try to avoid HO games but the line between adventure and HO games is becoming too blurred these days.

One great pair of games that are available on steam are Ben There, Dan That! and Time Gentlemen, Please! found here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/37400/

Just like Jolly Rover they are modern point n click adventure games by a small indie studio. They are absolutely hilarious. I actually bought Jolly Rover hoping for more of what I found in these two games, and I'll say that if you're a fan of either JR or BTDT and TGM, you'll definitely enjoy the other.

Games (available on Steam) you definitely don't want to miss if you're into point & click adventures:

1. The Longest Journey
2. Blackwell series
3. Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars
4. Monkey Island 1 + 2

Out of those last four, though, only Monkey Island are funny.

Other good games are the Sam and Max series, and Tales of Monkey Island. They're all available on Steam and they're often on sale.

And if we're just throwing out great point-and-clicks, if you ever do want something more mature (not that there's anything with the fun stuff), be sure to check out Gemini Rue. Great plot and not too puzzle-centric.

A game you might not have heard of is "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream"

Absolutely chilling, thrilling, phenomenal game.

It isn't a comedy though.
