1. No more cross-platform. The consoles are holding back the PC due to update limitations.

2. No. Sony and Micro$oft hate mods.

4) DONT BUY A GAMING PC, build your own. It's cheaper and will run better, also be easy to diagnose as you'll know more about your rig.

7. M$ doesn't allow mods because they think they're going to take lolsuits and negative press for what players put in the game. Sony does allow mods on PS3.

8. Find a decent local company, get your gaming spec, and get them to build it.

They will buy components cheaper than you can and you get a guarantee without the RMA that'll leave you without a PC for few a couple of weeks if something goes wrong.

You REALLY think you can buy retail cheaper than a company at wholesale? Nope, that's not how wholesale and retail works.

1. No more cross-platform play with PC or Xbox. That feature was eliminated. Probably could have happened between PC-PS3, but PC players don't want to play with lowly console player anyway, and they absolutely don't want to wait for console certification of patches.

2. Unknown. I think eventually there will be, in some future update/download. ValveTime, of course.

Enjoy playing on PS3. Console gaming definitely has it's benefits.

yes, honestly this is the best way to have a good CS experience. Vanilla/competitive CS isnt all there is to offer in the game, and consoles really miss out on the tens of thousands of custom maps and great mods like jailbreak and DM.

ps3 might have mods considering it will have kb and mouse support and sony has allowed mods on certain games before but 360 it will never happen.

HPE aren't going to go the extra mile to integrate mods on the console version.

Man, if only the cross-platform were allowed until now, it would be fun! I love platform interconnection in online gaming

Everyone knows that pc players would dominate the console players, ruthlessly. It wouldn't even be fun. I for one think that was the best decision they have made so far.
