Graphic Card not Supported?

Any workarounds? I have Intel HD Graphics, and yes, it used to work before the update. SFM boots up normally works for two seconds and then the error message pops up and sends it into a crash course. It stops responding. Anyway to bypass it so it thinks I have a graphics card that is supported?

laptop? and... no... not really... atm. but let me ask. what intel is it? the 3000 or 4000? and how fast did it work for you. how many fps rendering the mth 1st shot for example. just cause: i mean on notebookcheck the 4000 is benched faster then my graphics card in some games and if you got some fast ram like 1066 or faster. dunno how slow it floats tho. 16 pipes are sure not much... no matter howto turboed up. it rasters but shaders not. i think valve did measure and couldn't call it "playable" to work with.

If I turned the settings down to low and Ambient Occlusion off, It would constantly be 60fps. My processor is an i3 with 3GB ram. And yes laptop. It did work fine before the update
I can't remember how much fps I had during mth. Probably around 20.

yeah thats the problem with the lower end laptops your going to run into graphics issues with games and what my suggestion is to seriously consider an upgrade. as even if you can run it some of the cards will get that washed out look with the line in the middle because they cant handle the graphics well of SFM.
