Commandos 1 + Expansion in Widescreen Resolutions

http://modelrail.otenko.com/electron...-fix#downloads

This is a simple patch, it hex-edits your Commandos executable to a widscreen resolution of your choice. As you guys probably know, Commandos 1 (and it's expansion) only run natively in 800x600, which looks horribly stretched (almost unplayable) on big (modern) widescreen monitors.

I play Commandos now (both Behind Enemy Lines and Beyond the Call of Duty) in 1920x1080, and seeing the prerendered graphics in this kind of resolution is truly amazing. Only 'problem' is that your men are really tiny on the map, and your inventory/UI is also small.

I tried it awhile ago and didn't like it that much. It's widescreen but (as you said), the team guys are too small for me. I wasn't that impressed.
