Nice... regarding the SSD choice that is fine (laptop want to keep it light :P) but otherwise...
I was thinking about getting a ssd myself but I read that the life span of a SSD is worse then that of regular HDD... plus I get much more space... The way I see it [hdd]: more space, lower price and longer life span? YES! Last edited by sudo1024: 08-02-2012 at 02:58 PM. |

New consumer SSDs have pretty good longevity, but need care and feeding -- you want to make sure that TRIM is working. In a laptop, they're great; you're not likely to be doing the kind of intensive I/O that wears FLASH memory on your laptop, and the low power consumption and light weight are big benefits.

Optional, you do have a good gaming pc.
I just dont like the Mouse, headset. The case is great but outdated. Dont have any usb3 connection. Not a big problem. And as you said, you dont have an SSD. This is a must these days. Really wort it! |

I load faster, so what. I'm a gamer, I don't care if I load in 5 seconds instead of 10. my 15000 rpm is dealing with it just fine. The case may be "out dated" but I bought it brand spankin new last week, the air flow is GREAT. I have an extra 200mm fan on top, and on the side. The wire management is also flawless. |
