I don't see a better place to ask this. So here it is.
Hello. We are currently planning a LAN for the 8th and 9th of August (here in the states) and would think it wonderfully cool (and perhaps extraordinarily great salesmanship if there was a 75% off sale on DoD 1.x and CS 1.6 at the Steam Store (globally). This should increase Steampowered sales by at least 50 new gamers locally and who knows Globally; since those that by one game are more than a thousand times as likely to eventually pay full price for the next purchase. We are already planning the LAN around these games due to cost and figure our party will have more guests if mom, dad, that Jr high school kid or college student needing a break only have to pay a token price for the games. Anyway, I would like to thank those in charge if they bothered to read down to this point; even if they can't afford to run a sale in the next week. I realize how hard it is to find time to read every post in your forums. |
