Graphics Problem in CSS

I am having a problem with the graphics on counter strike source. All of my game settings are set as high as I can get them but console, server select, options menu are all really blurry and almost unable to be read. The same thing happens for motd messages and the shift+tab in-game menu. I have tried reinstalling steam and counter strike source but none of that has helped. Thanks for any help you can give.

Really is it that hard to figure forums out ? There is a Help forum and also a Counter Strike Source forum. Makes more sense to post there than in a General Discussion forum. Silly.

I am running 1920 x 1200 (native) and have turn up all the other graphic settings. I tried disabling the anti-aliasing but it doesn't do anything :/

Try this in console:
mat_motion_blur_enabled "0"
mat_non_hdr_bloom_scalefactor "0"
mat_disable_bloom "1"
mat_bloomscale "0"
mat_hdr_level "0"
mat_hdr_enabled "0
mat_bloom_scalefactor_scalar "0"

If this won't help, try starting the game in DirectX 8.1 mode.

Did you change anything in the video driver? What are your system specs and do you have a screenshot to demonstrate the issue?

Upload it anyway. What's your monitor? Did you use DirectX 8.1 mode?
