Whenever I use quit or exit to shut-down the server console, it gives me that prompt about having 10-seconds to press CTRL+C, or it will automatically restart the server.
Is there a command-line parameter or something to disable that? Sometimes, I just want to exit/quit. Also, other times I really do want to let the server crash in a visible way so I can see what was going-on to diagnose it. PS: For me this is for Source dedicated server, running under Linux (CentOS 5.x). |

Take a look at the srcds_run script. If a parameter regarding restart exists, it should be in there. Otherwise try editing a copy of it to suit your needs. (Copy because the original might be overwritten from time to time when updates happen.)
Edit: In fact, the VDC lists a command line option -norestart. Last edited by pizzahut: 07-29-2012 at 03:17 AM. |
