I would like to see Valve automaticly trade for games in your inventory only, of cause at a much reduced price. I was thinking of a percentage of the lowest sale price. Say 50% of the lowest price paid during sales in the last 12 months.
Yes it's a very low price and Valve would resell them at the store price not lower, unless there is a sale ![]() You would simply open a trade window on the game page and games you are allowed to trade for that game from your inventory are listed. You can select games up to or beyond the value of the game (Valve buy back prices would be listed on the acceptable trade in's), then you either pay the difference if you are still under the price of the game or forfeit the difference if above the full price. Valve could not loose out and people would not get stuck with games they don't want. This would also mean unwanted gifts can become at least a discount on a game you want. Thanks in advance for considering the option. |

you can actually still ask steam for a full refund for games your purchased that are still in your inventory.

i like the idea, considering its in your inventory, so its not like you played the whole game and now just want money back from it, its an unopened copy
