I think it would be cool if we had a path to get our Valve fan films on Steam's Media tab. I'm not even someone who would take advantage of that feature. I just want to see a larger Steam media library.

Would be nice. Wasn't there talk of valve doing something like netflix via steam?

When Steam Greenlight is released, you'll be able to release your movies (but with custom player and in Games tab) on Steam if many people like them, like Indie Game: The Movie.
