I have tried a few things to sort the problems im having so to say time. i have listed them here. some inc links to the instuctions i followed.

The above topic started by me tells in detail the problem and Everything i have done to solve it. as this far.
i also tried ---
error code (2) and (3) only got 3 while my net was off... tried to run the game in offline mode- lol did not work.

just to add i have reinstall the game 3 times Fresh installs full download. and i have tried to delete the files + Cloud save games and settings and i understand that cloud can cause problems even tho mine is NEVER on.. untill steam updates, then it come on my its self. lol..

1. also copied the sniper Elite v2 folder to a new steam/steamapps/common/
on my C driver (system) from my D drive ( Games)
2. i then renamed my steam folder on my Drive after closing steam.
and Reinstalled it on my C drive. ( clicked the Steam.exe From where i wanted it installed.) it placed all the files on C and then it saw the only game installed as SNiper elite v2. i hit play and still unavailable.
3. i verified the game file cache Every day each time said it was fine.
exception being the first day when this problem started and then it tried to download 6.7MB and this took ages i have a 7mb connection and normaly get 700KB-1.6mb from steam server. This would suspend and Pause. and hitting Resume just made its suspend again. This did download after 2 days of trying and restarting steam.

Please Dont give a scripted reply listing support pages cos i have been to them all.
unless your 100% that doing what that page said will fix this problem.
i am also posting this on the forums from the first forum link i give you.
reply to here or even on the forums so others can see your fix. what ever way if you dont i will.

PS: if you cant fix this game and make it playable in the next 7 working days i formal hereby request a full refund and i will go buy this for Playstation 3.

I have been using steam for 7 years + and i have never had any problems with service or support that has not been solved to satifation. i hope this problem will not change that record.

As you can see. i hit validate steam files. it says all files Ok..
then it starts to download 6.7MB of files. (steam2.gif)
this in turn causes the problem of "pause/suspend loop"

Also look at my last 2 posts.. the quotes are from messages i sent to steam and there reply.. follow there instuctions to me. that maybe will solve it for you.. for me it was the steam patch.. and game patch fix.
however if that dont work add me and e-mail me and ill give you another option.... that i wont give on forum.. but it worked for me while a fix was made.

Thought you guys might enjoy to hear how messed up this is, I bought the non-dlc pack version and it worked just fine. Bought the Dlc one afterwards for another cpu and did what your talking about. Only diff is the non dlc one has the exe in the bin folder. What the %^%& is that about? I'm still pis sed about arkham city not working. So if your able to get an exe it will run

I bought the sniper elite trilogy this weekend, sniper elite, snipr elite V2 and the DLC ( kill hitler mision and 2 weapons ). I have EXACT the same issue. What the ♥♥♥♥ is this? '' This game is currently unavailable ''

I tried to run as admin, yes my GPU-drivers are up to date, YES YES i tried to verify the game data and delete game cash. Trust me i did it all. I have a high end system. Its not me.

Is anyone going to fix this, steam/valve hello? It's almost a week and I spend 18 bucks here. Its like I buy a pack of milk in the supermarket and receiving it empty. I have 140+ Game's and i tell you one thing, after all those issues i had with games on steam this is the drip. Fix this, and we talk about buying games again

The game is borked. If you're having this problem like I did, you can simply reinstall your video drivers to fix it. However, you have to do this EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO PLAY THE GAME. Literally every time you launch the game, the same message appears. It's probably because this game is poorly suited for PCs, and Rebellion designs solely for consoles.
