Lightbulb Please, do SOMETHING to this game!

I hope someone from FatShark will read this.
I would like to play this game, really, but it sucks with no fresh content and low population. If you (devs) can't take care of the game anymore, then would it be possible to sell it to another team to continue the work? Please, there is a LOT in this game!

Yeah, it's a shame.
They could at least drop a new map every 6 months and I would be happy!

It's a good game definitely... but hardly anyone plays. If only they could convert this into an f2p game like Blacklight did a few weeks ago. I wonder if they could do more free weekends or even f2p this game, if only for the population to play this.

They are considering this alternative but it is not in their hands.
Actually, they are in talks with Paradox (publisher) right now.

We will bring it up with them again. The funding for Lng 2 can come from any of our titles. So buy a copy of Krater and we start right away

Yea, they said that a year ago, and nothing happened.

How about 2 or 3 new coop maps? The population might be low, but for a 4 person coop map it doesn't matter all that much and would keep us with something to do for a while. Or release an SDK.
PLEASE??

I will really and see if we can add another map, we have some half-finished over here. One of the level designers said he would like to finish one he had been working on. I also have some bug-fixes.

For larger features it will most likely be in LnG2. There is no support for the engine that LnG was build on any more. So it is more or less a dead end. Also Paradox, our publisher isn't all that interested in investing any more into the game. We tried to convince them about a year ago, but we got a no.

LnG2 will be made. The IP is owned by Fatshark, and we really want to do it. Since we are now wrapping up both Krater and War of the Roses, and going down in team-size on those projects, we will soon need another project, and it would be stupid not to continue on LnG.

Great news, can't wait for more western action (and for the War of the Roses beta)
Thanks for keeping us posted!

Can you please do it right this time? Lead and Gold had the potential to be a wonderful game, but your multiplayer implementation is absolutely horrendous. I usually have to try for 5-10 minutes just to get into a server - and a lot of the time I simply give up in frustration.

I would very much recommend doing a free-play weekend for LnG2 whenever it's released, because I'm going to have a very hard time buying it until I can see that it works - I'm already disappointed that I paid once for a game that consists of clicking a "Join" button and waiting for a timeout message, over and over again.

I agree, I would love to see this game become more active. I got it when it released on Steam, and well.. To be brutally honest it was pretty much dead from the get go. I don't think much could be done to resurrect this title, but I have plenty of wishful thinking

it wasn't dead from the get-go, but it had issues which stopped it from getting a starter community, which is a disaster for a multiplayer game.

it was loads of fun though
