I see it's rather... 'popular' bug. I ended 5 campaigns.. In personal stats I have marked 3 (SM, IG and Eldar). In 'Campaigns Completed' - all 6 (but on different difficulty each one)... and I recieved only 3, race-based, achievements. I played all 5 on Very Hard...
Is this Relic fault, or Steam? |

I've experienced this bug the first few times I played through the game. However I replayed the eldar campaign a couple days ago because I was bored and had nothing better to do, and I got the achievements for completing the eldar campaign as well as completing the game on normal.
I'll reload my very hard space marine campaign (saved right before the end) and finish Kyras off real quick tomorrow to see if I can get lucky a second time. Since I've played through the game so many times and only got the achievements this last time I'm not expecting anything, but hey, mabey lightning will strike twice. |

Just thought I would add to the complaining, last night a friend and I finished the Orc campaign, very hard level in Co-op. My stats page shows I completed this but no achievements were awarded to my friend or myself, yet we both earned all the achievements leading up to the final battle. I must say Steam achievements don't seem to work very well overall, this isn't the first game I've had issues with.

I would have considered buying Space Marine during this sale, but Relic's complete lack in interest in fixing Retribution's achievement bugs really turned me off. If they ever get their act together and fix this, maybe I'll give them a second chance.
