Ah no problem,i will see if i can come up with something on my own for steam gifts inventory .

The only thing I could think of was screencapping the inventory itself, but this can't be built-in into my tool

You could just parse the HTML of the inventory...

I made a tool that could do that long ago. Codding time: less than 1 day.

Oh there is a json? I use the XML API therefore, THIS. CHANGES. EVERYTHING. I'll start coding on it probably in the next version or so. Thank you for pointing that to me.

Hi all

For some reason it's not working on my pc (windows 7)
got all the pre-requisites, It downloads, reads my profile, pick the images, the whole ♥♥♥♥, ask for a filename to create it, finishes and I got nothing on the file explorer.

so far I have added to my antivirus exception, check file properties and disabled user protection, turned off firewall.

no idea why it's not working,
there is a temp file location where it gathers the images? to see if it's pulling everything alright?

I'm having the same issue now, though oddly enough it was working before with the same version (6.0.3), which leads me to think it might be something on Steam's end.

Either way, the best I could find was the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SteamHeaderDownl oader foler, where it downloads the header images and profile information. But I can't find the generated image anywhere.

Fixed in 0.6.0.4, everyone should get it automatically by starting the application.

I'm getting this error:

Application validation did not succeed. Unable to continue.
+ Application manifest has either a different computed hash than the one specified or no hash specified at all.
+ File, SteamHeaderDownloader.exe.manifest, has a different computed hash than specified in manifest.

This was a temporary bug due to an upload error, should be fixed now!

It isn't fixed, I'm afraid, still erroring out on the manifest file.
