Am I the only one who gets slight fps lag from Molotov's?

My pc specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 (Six Core) 1055T 2.80 GHz
Card: Nvidia Geforce 550 Ti
Memory: 8GB

I don't think my rig is terrible or great, but it shouldn't be giving me a hard time when Molotov's are thrown on the map :S

It's entirely possible they haven't yet optimized the game. Maybe after the next update you'll have steady FPS.

CATASTROPHIC fps drop?

Yep.

Source doesn't like fire as far as i am aware, i have the same catastrophic fps drops in HL2 as well when fire is present.
