Falling to death on Xen

Hi

I'm the member who was 'stuck in the Blast pit', it seems years ago now

I've grilled a beast, fryed a monster, enjoyed a railtrack ride, launched a rocket (don't know why), hated a conveyor belt ride.
Got a dam helicopter and got a dam shark. Annialated an entire army (that will have spoilt the UK / USA special relationship), cleared the earth of aliens and landed on a small floating island in space
Every time I jump off to the next Island in space 'Splat'

Help

Wyko

I can guarantee anyone who has played HL has gone SPLAT more than once. You just have to time your jumps near perfect and take your time, and practice your long lumping before going to Xen.

Edit: You also have to make sure your picking the right platform to jump to (the closest one to you). Good luck at killing the evil forces that lay in front of you!

More specifically, you have to actually use the long-jump (crouch-jump now activates it). Should take you a good hundred feet. Regular jump is left unaffected.

^^ this.

Xen has less gravity, but is a bit difficult to navigate none the less.

I'd recommend playing the Hazard Course. Tells you everything you need to know about long jumping.

Are you doing the long jump thing?

I think it's forward + crouch then space. It definately takes practice!

I hate Xen
