Hopefully one of the devs will read this and help clarify or anyone else that has come across this issue can help out.
I'm progressed probably 8-10 levels into the campaign and I'm on the mission where you have 1 sniper, 1 assault rifle, 1 shotgun, and 1 fake Dillinger. You must go to the blue square office where the real Dillinger can be activated and then you must move him all the way back to the extraction point. I've ran into two bugs in which caused me to fail the mission: Bug #1: Got to the office, had control of both fake and real Dill, told both of them to go back to the extraction point, the real one then gets stuck en route on nothing (I tried to move him away, didn't work), took long enough that the computer AI kills him later. Bug #2: Got to the office (real Dill already spawned in there before, though he is yellow), no matter how many times I move the fake Dill inside the box I can't gain access of the real Dill. Anyone else having this problem? |

I guess I should have known better after the longstanding game breaking bugs I encountered in the original campaign. I will definitely be more careful with indy game purchases from now on.

i've had problem #2 every time i've attempted this mission (i think it's #12). from the briefing it sounds like i don't even need to get fake dillinger into the office and should just get control of real dillinger after a couple turns. i never actually get control of real dillinger though. do i need to get a non-civilian into the office? do i just need to keep trying and hope i'll get a random seed that allows dillinger to be controlled?

i found a thread on the mode7 forums about the same issue: http://forums.mode7games.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4472
sadly, no word from the developers there either. it did however have people saying they eventually got it to work by trying again and again, and one person said it might help to keep fake dillinger out of sight. |

my second attempt at hiding fake dillinger until the real one turned green worked. the first time fake dillinger may have actually started out in view of one of the enemy units, or it could just be a coincidence.
