I am going to disagree with you on that statement, currently as of date (21-08-2012) I am in possession of over 5 hacking tools for MW3, the tools range from Aimbot, Wallhack, ESP, No recoil and messing with your stats just to name a couple of the capabilities of the tools. If this is VAC know hacks or unknown I have no idea.

I send Valves moderators (6 of them) and even http://vacbanned.com/ the link countless times to the files that I have upload to a sharing site about 1-2 months back and to date, no views and no downloads of that files from any of the 2 groups that suppose to support the gamer. Even after I was reassured by the moderators that the VAC development team have been notified about the link via email. How many other hacks has been "missed" this way one can only speculate.

So in short I rather think that Valve is fracking lazy, understaffed or incompetent to deal with the amount of shi7 they have on their plate.

While the moderators should pass on the cheats to the VAC team for inclusion; vacbanned.com is a community maintained site that isn't affiliated with Valve - they can't do anything with the information you provide.

I run into a speacial cheat today, many guys hacked on a map and when i wrote that stop destroying the game, then he just said "Now everybody hack happy now" then suddenly every other player had infinite health and bullets and probably autoaim.

My question is will everybody be accused for cheating cause that idiot put a cheat on that affected everybody. This game has now officially been destroyed ....

I registered cause of these damn cheaters

Okay i run into another hacked lobby again, now I even know what its called. Does the trick work that I read about? on call of dyty forums,they said that you should kill steam by task manager before exiting the hacked lobby. But what to do if you already exited the game before I knew about this will I now be blamed hacker?

All he does is e-mail the cheats in, just like any other community member can do. There is no need or benefit to add a middle-man to the cheat reporting.

Anakin MIGHT like getting copies of the cheats just for his own information - but I greatly suspect he just forwards them on to the relevant mod (Burtonj?), same as anyone else.

Unless you modifyed your game files, which you didnt, you will NOT be banned.

The moderators of this community, using your own word choice, are middle-man as well. The user(games and so on) of Steam products send the hack to the moderators as instructed by the Steam knowledge base and they in turn "have to" send it to the VAC development team.

I put the "have to" in quotes reason being if they don't do their job, well what the point of them then being middle-men to get in contact with VAC development team ??

So in the end the buck stops at the moderators mood at the time of he/she gets the email informing them about the problems.

To the best of my knowledge they're the last port of call we have direct access to; and Burton / MikeB both post here regularly and seem to have an intricate knowledge of VAC, and thus if you PMd them would probably be able to deal with the issue directly.

Either way, how does this justify adding an additional proxy to the chain?
