Depends where you are from, if Europe then 5.9.27.170:27017
No redirects, no keyboard changing, server in central Europe (Germany), English speaking and all that.

CS 1.6 is still most playable and it's an e-sport game so it can't be dead. Since there are WCG, ESL, ESWC and other e-sport league cs will have more players than cs:go

CS 1.6 dead? Stats will say different. Even CS 1.5 is still playing here around on LAN. Old school can't die.

After beta-testing GO since back in December, all I can say is, GO makes me appreciate how much a better game 1.6 is.

I'll not be leaving 1.6 any time soon.

I was right there with you testing. Valve's version of listening was to do the exact opposite of what the community said and then say "See, we listen." And the game never got any better.

Worst part was, I was given beta by one of the devs who I am friendly with. I had him play 1.6 with me for a while, showed him all the things we love and were talking about. And he was like "hmm, yes, I can see what you mean"

Then nothing. So frustrating!

Eheh.. i know i was just messing with men1kmati

There are some professional teams that are putting 1.6 to the side. So it's not going to take long for 1.6 to start "dying".
