Can someone tell me why Mannhunt does not work on Windows 7?

I was just wondering. I was thinking about buying the game until I saw the message that said "This game does not support Windows 7 or Windows Vista."

Of course I could just buy the game for my Playstation 2 but I was wondering, why is it that the steam version doesn't support Windows 7, out of curiosity.

Game works perfectly. Steam version of course.
I don't know about that message. Maybe on other PC configs someone had this issue?

I came here to check the same, and it may just mean if there are issues related to Vista or 7, they won't bother to fix them.

my game just stops working after about 10 mins and gives me the message 'manhunt.exe has stopped working' ♥♥♥♥ing marvellous! steam and rockstar are happy to take my money! but not happy enough to then fix a problem with the game! cheers you robbing bastards!

If you're running it on Windows 7 or Vista you can only blame yourself. They warned you on the store page.

I myself may take a chance with it. That warning is just to get them out of trouble. It doesn't mean 100% that the game will not work. And there are probably fixes out for it.

Hi everyone,

I have Manhunt for P.C. and it does work on Windows 7.

The problem is the Logitech keyboard & mouse set I have.

It conflicts with Manhunt.

I need to get a new keyboard & mouse anyway and ditch this nonsense and Manhunt should work fine.

Again: Manhunt does work on Windows 7, it's just not really compatible with a Logitech keyboard & mouse!

Well thats wrong, I use both a Logitech Keyboard and mouse and before I did Manhunt would never work on my Windows 7 PC....

But hey when I found this a while back I found out there was a patch for it http://www.gzwn.net/manhuntpatcher/ that will run on both steam and non steam versions (and those who have downloaded it) it will work for that too.

Also heres some skins ive made if anyone is interested in checking them out/using it in their manhunt game.
