Hello,
This is my first post here and is most likely in the wrong forum. Anyways... I've come across a hacker in CS:GO and have actually tracked him down. Turns out he was using an alternate account and on his main account he's been VAC banned multiple times. So why not ban him altogether? I hate joining a game and seeing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayJC3HhDS8Q - HD version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1O2U8XS0Bg Here's the user's accounts: Main account Alt account Also I would like to know where on his profile page I can report him for cheating in-game. (If people could help me out with that, it'd be appreciated. It seems I couldn't find it after I've left the game.) -Edit Also in the video, the round after I start calling him out on his hacks; He runs straight into enemies and gets a head shot on 5 in a row, in less than 30 seconds. We got him kicked from the match. Last edited by nameloc: 08-16-2012 at 12:59 AM. |

Every multiplayer game that's open to the public at all will have cheaters.

The only thing that looks strange in that entire video is spectating the guy with the AK at the end, his recoil and aiming does look pretty odd. Everything before that looked totally normal, you ran out in the open and stood still for too long and got insta-killed. That happens all the time in CS.

Not totally sure if this is hacks, could just be that lucky, (I've had people jump around corners and headshot me with a first lucky round from one side of the map to the other) but they are out there for sure.
I joined a server last night and before I could even make it 5 steps after the round starts, every one on my team was shot in the head in less than a second. Didn't have the energy to boot up FRAPS to record it, just went to another server. Also saw a few more while playing Dust, was on CT side, round starts and I start running to the bombsite outside of the CT spawn, before I even make it to the door I hear "Bomb has been planted." and I run into the bomb area to see 3 terrorists sitting on the boxes just waiting on me. |

The people with just the beta on an account know the account finishes forever very soon, so getting banned means nothing to them as the account will soon have no games.
That is the problem with giving beta's to accounts with no games, it opens up beta testing for cheat makers. Valve should consider this in the future. |

Must just be me but I've never played a CS game where this didnt happen and honestly watching the minute he was being specced didn't look suspicious. I mean its using the same old garbage from old CS games. If you played log enough you know how the hitboxes work.

@1UP: But you need to realize today that aimbots are highly sophisticated then they used to be. It's very difficult to tell if a player is using one unless you have been trained to spot one. There are some very good videos on how to spot cheaters by the guy who created the anti-cheat program, Detocs.
