Steam is Nonfunctional; Cannot Uninstall; Game Have Numerous Issue
For the past few days, I've been having a lot of problems with Steam. For some reason, all of my games have some sort of issue. Some games suffer severe lag a few mintues in, making them unplayable. Doom and Doom II don't even load; they just get to the title screen and stay there. I tried deleting Steam to reinstall it, but I get some message about some app having access to a .blob file and even though I shut off all other apps, I still can't proceed. So now I'm stuck and all these games I've purchased are useless. Also, I know nothing about computers. Updating drivers, checking the BIOS... I have no idea what those things are or how to do any of that. What should I do? This is really aggravating.
By the way, I'm using Windows 7, if it matters. |

So just install it even though it's already installed?
And no, I haven't deleted any games. UPDATE: I tried doing that. I've had this for the past hour: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...count=1&ref=nf It just stays there. So am I correct to assume that there's nothing that can be done at this point and all my games are useless and money wasted? Last edited by Starwind Amada: 08-07-2012 at 07:44 AM. |

Really? So I shouldn't be complaining that the game I bought don't work anymore for no reason and I should just be like, "Eh, it was only a couple hundred dollars, no biggie." Seriously, that's your response? Okay, grow up. I can tell you don't care because your computer is working fine. I shouldn't have expected any help from other users. But it's not like the Valve staff cares because I already gave them my money.
