The DOTA 2 site

Its been over a week and I haven't gotten the activation email. I even checked spam and I have no filters. What gives? The site email thing on there to ask for help from an admin is also broke. I would like to be able to post and such on that site since there is no DOTA 2 section on steam forums (just goes to that site).

I'm going to guess that you mean playdota. It's a shame there is no Dota 2 forum on Steam. We can't really help you get activated on that third party site.

Yeah they should have something small than the third party. Its just annoying I tried on different networks too.

Why is there still no DOTA 2 forum here when this is clearly a valve game. This is like Valve making their game a GFWL and abandoning steamworks for something like Half Life 3.

I think it is pathetic regardless of all the lame excuses I keep hearing.

I refuse to join that terrible troll forum.

The (bad) "official" reason is because "all the DOTA ppl already go to that site. why make them register for another site? (i.e. steam forums)" So instead, it's loyal steam forums ppl who are put out if they want to get involved in dota.

Yet I can't get past the activation. There is no email. I have no filters etc...guess I won't be able to use the site cause emailing the admin (which is a form on the site and hard to find) doesn't work either.
