Random Crashes/Lockups ingame since the latest update

The MvM update was fine but this very latest one right after it compltely screwed my TF2 and it wont stop crashing/locking up after about 5 minutes ive joined a server.

WTF Valve?

Try verifying your game cache files by right-clicking on Team Fortress 2 and selecting properties and going to the Local Files tab. It should fix any bad files.

I just had a lockup and had to reboot my system.

Same thing happens to me, only that it's been going on since the meet the pyro update. Seriously, TF2 is currently the most unstable game ever after all this ♥♥♥♥ing hat updates, it takes 3 minutes to connect to a server now. Plus, it keeps randomly crashing at times.

I've tried to verify integrity of game files, but it keeps getting stuck at 100%.

Same here... i can play ok until a map change, then i get the crash. Just started since last update.

looks like i will have to wait for another update until valve fixes this, man TF2 is their most unstable game ever.

I've Been getting frequent random crashes too since the mvm update.

specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel i7 930 @3600mhz
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R rev13
6144mb ram
ATI Radeon HD 5870 - Driver ver 12.8 (I switched to this one b/c i was having the same issue with version 12.6)
Creative SB X-FI

So for kicks I took hl2.exe out of the folder it was in and then ran the file integrity check which I had passed previously. It replaced the file and I played for several hours with no crashes yet...

Hope it stays this way and hope it helps the rest of you.

Well at least I got a solid 5 hours or so total between this and my last crash as opposed to 30 minutes.

So frustrating and even moreso when nothing is acknowledged i guess.
