Exactly. One click to one of the store’s integral features should be more than enough. There would be a ♥♥♥♥ storm if you couldn’t browse to the new releases list with one click [and little bit of scrolling].

Had to turn off Friends posting screenshots because I'm shown screenshots for games I don;t own or spoilers where as before I can see that they posted a screenshot and choose to click the link to see them. This is so much a step backwards. Now I see nothing, not even a link.

I have to agree with the OP, we need the news tab back, 1st thing I noticed when I saw the new UI was that missing tab, I always used it to see if any of my games were patched/updated or any other news I was interested in.

Right now I either want out of the beta or preferably get the tab back.

But its viewable even if steam is minimized with 2 clicks!

Right click the steam icon in the taskbar, select news! PRESTO!

I agree. The News tab is very helpfull for overall news. It's all compact, shows all the changelogs from the games, other news, etc. . And in this Beta I don't get how to do that. I mean I don't want to click my way thru all the games I'm currently playing just to be up-to-date.

Oh, hell yeah! Thanks man, I didn't know this (haven't checked the forums until now).

I do as well miss the NEWS tab, but if it's there on the Store page anyways it's fine for me after all.

Oh god yes please return it, its a great news feed and lets me see chnage logs when a game gets updated.

I checked it all the time, there is no point NOT having it.
