Hi,
Despite what various reviewers are saying, this game looks like a blast and definitely something I'd enjoy. Unfortunately, I am barred from playing by my OS (I use a Mac). Are there any plans to develop a Mac version? Thanks! PS. I think I'll pick it up anyway since it's on sale. Maybe I can get around to buying a Windows license and installing Boot Camp sometime, but if not at least it'll benefit the developers.

1) Start the server. 2) Go into the console and type "sv_lan 0". This console variable will tell the game that it is now an "internet" game which can be accessed by people outside your lan. 3) In the console, type "changelevel <mapname>" where <mapname> is the name of whatever map you want to play on. This is necessary because server needs a quick restart once sv_lan is changed. 4) Your friends can now connect to your game via the "connect" command in the console. They MAY be able to connect if you send invites to them but sometimes Steam ties the wrong IP address to the invite. The connect command should work for sure. If you don't know your IP address you can find that out by going to whatsmyip.org Hope this helps! Sorry its not an easier procedure, not a feature that's in super-high demand. But we will most definitely be fixing this when we add Survival mode as many people will want to start games this way for obvious reasons. |

If you're talking about the how-to-play guide, there's a manual of sorts in the game itself. It's accessible via the 'manual' button on the main menu/esc screen. It's got info on game modes, special attacks, and dinos.

Where on earth are the Dino D-Day kill icons located? I looked through the entire Dino D-Day folder and didn't find them.

\Steam\steamapps\common\Dino D-Day\dinodday\
-> \materials\hud\d_images.vtf That should be what you're looking for. |
