Some weapons nerfed... others not??

I know the Nova was a powerful weapon but it had purpose. In CSGO it's essentially a fly swatter.

So why was the Nova nerfed, yet the AWP and the Autocannon, two of the most overpowered guns in competitive multiplayer shooters ever, have gone untouched?

I just want to understand the logic behind it.

Shotguns feel better in CSGO than any other CS game, imo. I'm pretty sure the AWP is not as good as it was in previous CS games too...

But now we have the Negev, which is super lolsy easymode.

Autocannon = Autonoob = Scar-20.

Nova has identical damage to M3 from CS:S. The difference in damage is probably a result of the smaller hitboxes so less pellets hit than before.

Nova is the same if not better than the M3 in the older games.

AWP got it's scope nerfed a bit

Autocannon for me is the auto shottie and that actually did loose damage so it was nerfed.

"Autoshotgun" also has identical damage as in CS:S. It lost the fast movement speed and was reduced in cost. It's totally useless now.
