Can I get VAC banned from this?

So I got kicked in a Left4Dead2 server its a modded server and the Admin put my character to have max speed and kicked me for hacking which I never hacked. The admin "claimed" I was hacking L4D2 server when he left me a goodbye message saying "enjoy your vac ban for speed hacking" I didn't hack or altered the vac shield I just join that server.

I still remember the server's IP address and person's STEAM ID.

Either you're lying and actually did speed hack, in which case you'll get VAC banned, or the admin is going to get banned.

What on earth gives you that idea?

A: You had modified files and or using a cheat (even if you didn't install it) and will be banned

B: You didn't do anything and got banned by an admin that was pranking you and nobody will get vac banned

If B: Then the best you can do is report the admins profile for misbehaviour, nothing more you can do.

If you are using your own computer and there is no chance you had cheats running and the admin was telling the truth as he see's it. It is possible you had a bug that caused you to speed up "VAC does not ban for bugs". Have you tried a single player game to see if you are fast?

I don't have the game, I assumed there was like a lobby thing before a round starts with some indication of how fast the other player is going to be, and his got really high as a result of something the admin did with a hack.

No, its a non existent copy. "I don't have the game" means "I don't have the game", not "I stole the game"

I see a lot of people here saying using the word "will" be banned. We have to remember here that it's VAC. It's good but it's far from perfect.

If you had modified files, "...you might be banned."
