TFC name help!

I can't change my name to DerrickTheHedgehog for TFC, It just stays at player. Any one know how to fix this?

It should work if you use the console. Press the key under Escape / left to 1, on most keyboards that's "~" (tilde) or "`" (grave accent). Type this:

name "Derrick The Hedgehog"

Then press the console key again.

How to Fix Team Fortress Classic Name Problem!
Location: Your Steam Folder\steamapps\Your Username\team fortress classic\tfc\config.cfg.
Edit config.cfg in Notepad, find Name: "player"
edit player to anything.
Save and you are done!
