Ghost Recon Future Soldier PC - Windows 8

So here it is folks... Future Soldier on Windows 8. Using latest drivers, just reinstalled OS and game... for the 4th time. Just wanted to be sure it wasn't me... it wasn't.

well, windows 8 is not released yet. the game doesn't support it, too. I don't even understand why you ask this. go back to windows 7. you will be fine. windows 8 will be out the end of next month (10/26). can't you just wait?

I don't know how its "not supported". Its Windows 7 underneath. Everything else works. This is the only game that I'm having any issues with.

I still have issues in Windows 7 where it looks like the game is running 720p. So I can't say the game works right in either OS. They need to look at 1680x1050 because something is still not right with the game.

LA Noire has issues too and in general many older games...

because its not, it wasn't tested in that environment, and most developers so far aren't liking the look of 8 either (I.E. don't expect much in the way of support in the future either, much like how Vista almost killed PC gaming as we knew it given devs desperate hate for that one). opting instead to push for more support on the Linux platform instead (Valve being one of'em)
otherwise i could easily ask why most games that support WinXP 32 bit won't even attempt to run in WinXP 64 bit, its just a 64 bit ver of XP right?! right!? it even has a backwards compat mode for 32 bit programs (that doesn't work)
i mean, they work fine in Win7 64 bit.. so why not the preferred XP just in a 64 bit wrap?

8 is gonna be another dud like ME and Vista, its not even worth a backward glance as it zooms by and is succeeded by some new windows with a new name.
and if it truly follows MS's usual practice, its nothing more than a pay to use alpha for the next OS model.
