Steam crash when I try to activate a product

if I click on games -> activate a product on Steam, Steam crash and exit.

Same here. However, deactivating the current beta version (BigPicture) fixes it.

Just found this on Google and it saved me a bunch of time. Big Picture crashes steam when you try to activate a game. Funny! Thanks again!
