Changing the steamscheme has helped, but now I'm wondering how to change the font in-game as well. Namely the server list font size.

Yes, met too, I caannot read the server list in TF2 on my 1920*1080 screen unless I move up closer to it.

I can change the Steam GUI fount size with no problem by editing the steamscheme.res file, but I cannot see the same file for TF2. Even placing a copy of the modified steamscheme.res file into the TF2 \resource directory makes no difference.

Anyone know how to increase the TF2 server list font size?

Same problem

Dell SP2309W 2048 x 1152

I have a very hard time with reading steam text and it is basically the only program I have any trouble with in that regard. It's a 23" LCD and I sit about 5 feet away.

idea 1) Go to a minimum font standard. Set the minimum font and have all other fonts just be a +1 or +2 of that base value. You still have control of the size difference between different text but it will never go smaller than is readable.

idea 2)Go to a steam scale option. Make everything in steam 1.5X scale. or 2X scale similar to the old Winamp Double Size option. All your formatting and pictures would remain the same, but the smallest font would most likely be readable even at high res.

idea 3)Use a MS Windows standard for steam window formatting and let windows control font type and size. This would allow cleartype smoothing and would automatically increase font size dependent on windows font settings that the user will (hopefully) already have set to a readable level for their situation.

Three year bump because my eyes hurt. I was thinking it might help if there was an option to switch these dark grey boxes to full black for easier readability.

This is something valve needs to address. Big picture mode fixes the UI for steam iteself but at least all source engine games need to start respecting DPI scaling in windows as the default with the option to overide. I cant see much in the console from my HTPC with 54 inch TV.
