Several people have reported this. Try putting it your "materials" folder, make sure you got both the VMT and VTF file out of the archive, and restart SFM.

I have to say that there's a better way to import models link:http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=2824377 You need a dx90 & dx80 copy in order to see them in your model browser.
