*SPOILERS* Hodunks or Zafords?

Which did you side with?

This was probably one of the most fun side-quest lines so far, lol, an entire Hatfields and McCoys quest line where you single-handedly work both sides of a clan feud.

Did you side with the creepy, hick/hillbilly Hodunks, or did you side with the drunken, Irish Zafords?

I actually saved and quit right before I had to choose, then got back on and played through killing the Zafords first, then the Hodunks.

Killing the Zafords (1st time around) got me a really sweet Torgue explosive shotgun named "Easy Landscaper",with stats reading (top down Dam/Acc/FR/RS/MS) 172x4/88.8/0.9/4.0/4 that reads "Get off my lawn! +51% Weapon Damage, Consumes 2 ammo per shot, Deals bonus Explosive damage." and is $523 value. Plus, $326 cash.

Killing the Hodunks (after non-save quitting and reloading to the last Fast Travel area at Ellie's), got me a Maliwan slag SMG named "Feculent Chulainn" with stats 80/76.0/9.7/2.1/42/36.6% that reads "Riastrad!" and has a value of $726. You also get a ton of EXP, but no extra cash.

So, (unless the rewards in this case are randomized), it's all up to what you want. Both of the weapons are well below what I've got right now, so I just stopped with killing the Hodunks (siding with the Zafords) and selling off the SMG.

The Zafords have a slot machine in their pub that purportedly has a slightly higher win rate than Moxxi's slots.

i.e. Zafords all the way, plus they have Steve.

Went with the Zafords. Just liked them more.

I went with the Zafords. A couple reasons why.

1) They have a Slot Machine in their Pub
2) I felt bad killing the little leprechaun, and then seeing the father so upset :-)

Zafords. Gun I got as a reward wasn't good, but the quest was fun. Got to see Steve!

I've been trying to find the zaford hideout again. I've took their side in the war, but I can't remember what area they are located. Anyone know?

It's at the entrance of the town of Overlook in The Highlands.

Hodunks can go screw themselves lol. This is what made my decision for me :P

I switched with each playthrough. The Zafords gave better loot.

PS- there is a weapon chest below the Zafords. Its under the floor.

Zaffords. I think mostly because I play a gunzerker with that awesome hat that makes you look like one of them.

Incidentally, I can tell you for a fact that the Hodunk boss can drop a legendary, so another reason to side with Zafords. Dunno if the other guy drops it, but I got a triple-shot, high fire rate, very high clip size Slag SMG from killing Hodunk. Called the 'Murdering Slagga' with the red text being 'blagaga'

Ive also heard this is a drop specific to the guy.
