To further clarify,

Steam version: http://www.amazon.com/Sega-Genesis-C.../dp/B00AEV8HI2

Not Steam version: http://www.amazon.com/Sega-Genesis-C.../dp/B00A6CS0OU

Basically in this case if you don't see "DRM: Steam" after it lists Windows as the platform then it's not the Steam one.

And by the way, once you download these Genesis games you can actually run the exe outside of Steam without it forcing the Steam client to load effectively making it (optionally) DRM free similar to how many games on Desura are.

You could try contacting Amazon customer service about it. Some people over at CAG have reported getting refunds for their past purchase from Amazon so that they can rebuy the Steam version again. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Yes, they added it some days ago. It wasnt available at the blackfridayweek.

I always find it interesting activating keys on Steam for products that aren't available for sale through the Steam Store. Weird Worlds looks fun.

You get a steam key and you can activate it right after your purchase. Even when its not released on steam yet. It shows already up in my library.

Check your Indie Royale Collection page, or failing that, check on Desura and see if you can request a key. I haven't heard anything one way or the other about existing owners getting a key.

They did say that, but I believe retracted it and said some steam keys. Caster is one of the "no key" games.

Sorry about the mishap. Aparenly there was a miscommunication. Keys for Caster are on their way.

I'll probably buy it to get the Steam key anyway ..

That's a good question. We'll have to look into it. We weren't on Steam at that time and we don't have the contact information of all the IndieRoyale customers. If they have records of everyone who bought the bundle, we might be able to distribute keys in some way. In any case we will release a patch to update the previous PC version to 1.30.
