Sourcemod Admin Menu Broke

I was adding the UGC configs to the sourcemod admin menu. I placed the configs in the right place and edited adminmenu_cfgs.txt and all that and then restarted the server. Now when open the admin menu using sm_admin instead of the regular menu coming up, I get a line of text saying "You have a menu, press ESC".

I press escape and sure enough there is a menu, but it doesn't have all the options the other menu had, and if i navigate to the server config submenu, it just closes. Any idea what is going on? re-uploading the previous unaltered adminmenu_cfgs.txt did not resolve the issue.
