Problem is that the workshop already is full of submissions. Even if no-one submitted anything for next halloween (Utopic Scenario) They could just dig around this year submissions to fill the events of the next two years. (Assuming they have no in-company leftover designs to use either)

Also, A year is a loooong time and by next summer (sadly) nobody will give half a flying donkey about what happened. there will be more recent stuff to be internet-angry at. So the circle will be closed, in time for the next submissions batch

Put them all back on or take them all off.
Maybe the zombie souls as an exception, they're way too common and should be restricted.

Hey, Robin Walker, or any other VALVe employee who is looking at this!

Those who still work on TF2 just said that they are adding these items, which alter the Classes' basic shapes to a degree far greater than most of the Halloween items did.

And the Heavy's new shirt is completely white, even further ruining Class and Team recognition.

And yet this is apparently so bloody outrageous that it has to have a restriction on it!

It also makes so much (read: little) sense that the Scout can wear an item set (with wings!) that makes him look like a bee-henchman, and yet the Heavy can't wear a set that makes him look like a fairy.

Nice double-standard, especially since community contributors are losing thanks to these restrictions. (Source: ned_ballad)

Well this thread of sort of reasonable.

However, hopefully Valve won't care about this halloween matter over major updates, weapons, and fixes to the game.

They're just cosmetics to me.
