Post Melee and the Hitbox

I am sure this issue has been brought up before. It is starting to become a problem in general. I first noticed the problem when I was rocket jumping to get kills with a market gardener. I rocket jumped in the air and hit a sniper with a shovel into the head on my decent to the ground, and the hit did not register. Another incident was when I was using the eyelander for demo and my team was charging at a sniper. The sniper of course was out numbered and I charged in to get the sword kill. Instead, the hit did not register and I get killed with a crit from the bushwacka and I was not under the effects of jarate. I will mention that the melee for heavy, sniper, spy, pyro, medic, and demo(with the bottle) are fine. The other characters need a little adjustment.I mostly play on servers where my ping is less than 100 that way I know it is not just lag. Plus, most of the people that I play with have a ping 105 and under. If you can give me some feedback for this situation I would greatly appreciate it and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

What are the original numbers for cl_interp in case I do not like the change?

Default is 100ms... so you could go into Console and type cl_interp 0.1

Or you could do like I did and make a bunch of binds for various interps so you can change them on different servers with different pings.

I'll paste them below --

bind "F1" "rate 30000; cl_interp 0.1; cl_interp_ratio 2; cl_updaterate 66.6; cl_cmdrate 66.6"
bind "F2" "rate 30000; cl_interp 0.0150; cl_interp_ratio 1; cl_updaterate 66.6; cl_cmdrate 66.6"
bind "F3" "rate 30000; cl_interp 0.0225; cl_interp_ratio 1.5; cl_updaterate 66.6; cl_cmdrate 66.6"
bind "F4" "rate 30000; cl_interp 0.0304; cl_interp_ratio 2; cl_updaterate 66.6; cl_cmdrate 66.6"

Spy. Melee fine. I get failstabs and facestabs a good 20% of the time whenever I attempt a stab on someone's back (Or face if it's from the front).
