Yeah, well.

But anyway, do you know which maps are good for playing Pyro? So I know when to play Pyro and when to play Soldier(I began training on how to play as him).

Maps with closed, indoor areas such as Turbine are pretty good for Pyro - and for Soldier, anything works as he's a jack of all trades.

Pyro's in turbine are insane. A single good pyro can easily cut off the enemy vents completely. How do I counter this?

He really can't, Pyros aren't that good. Just go Direct Hit soldier and watch him try and reflect!

Note for Turbine, Pyro's not actually really good there due to the map's linearity and openess (yeah you'll say about the vents but if the pyro can't get into the opponent's vents then it's useless).

Wrong - he's amazing at defence and babysitting, something the Pyro's very good at. An Engie/Pyro combo in the intel makes it nigh impossible to cap!

Except that an Ubered Heavy can. The only class that I hate as close as the Scout is the Heavy.

Just airblast him back out of the doors.

Without airblast, Pyro is pretty much terrible. You really need to think about and practice airblasting!

I was playing on \TG/ Goldschlager last night. The map: Barnblitz. There was one pyro with a backburner that kept flanking and just wrecking us. That being said, it was a mid-quality pub game.

I've played against pyros who were good at airblasting before, and it was unreal. Quick burst of flame -- airblast -- airblast again when I run up, or juggle in midair -- Axtinguisher to the face.

I have the utmost respect for guys who can do that.
